```htmlPURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Professional Technical Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the project by overseeing technical and procurement procedures, reviewing drawings, specifications, and standards, and ensuring compliance with NEOM procedures and requirements. This role demands a well-rounded knowledge of various engineering disciplines and extensive experience in both engineering and construction technical fields.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvide technical support to the project team, ensuring all mechanical engineering aspects are addressed.Oversee procurement procedures, including the preparation of material take-off (MTO) and quantity surveys.Review and assess vendor and supplier proposals to ensure they meet project requirements and specifications.Review drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure they are accurate and comply with project requirements and industry standards.Ensure adherence to NEOM procedures and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Utilize comprehensive knowledge of various engineering disciplines to support project execution and resolve technical issues.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration and coordination of project components.Prepare detailed MTOs and quantity surveys for procurement and construction planning.Develop and submit weekly reports on project progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.Attend project meetings as required to provide technical insights and updates.Maintain regular communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they understand and meet project requirements.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to address any issues related to material quality, delivery schedules, and compliance with specifications.KEY QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in the GCC region, with a strong background in mechanical engineering within engineering and construction technical fields.Professional certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields.Experience with large-scale projects, particularly within the NEOM framework.Extensive experience with NEOM procedures and requirements.Proficient in reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, including MTO preparation and quantity surveying.Familiarity with vendor and supplier management processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Effective time management and organizational skills.VERTICALENGINEERING```#J-18808-Ljbffr
