Greetings from NES!!We are hiring for an experienced Mechanical Technician - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for a PERMANENT role for a petrochemical company in Ras Laffan, Qatar.Responsibilities include:Maintain and overhaul all Mechanical equipment (including Furnaces, Boilers, Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Silos, Rotary/Diverter valves, Steam traps, Valves, PRV’s, RD’s, Piping components, Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Blowers, Fans, Gear Boxes, Machine Alignment, etc.).Ideal candidate should have:High School / Secondary – 12th / 10th Grade plus Vocational or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.5 years of Minimum experience in Oil and Gas experience in Mechanical Maintenance.Proven experience in Plant maintenance is required.Hands-on experience in performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of all equipment.Ability to read drawings and instructions, install/remove, and overhaul rotating equipment or parts.Ability to set, align and install/remove rotating equipment or parts.Carry out maintenance jobs on static equipment, valves, pipelines, exchangers, vessels, columns, etc.Preferred to be familiar with skills of the systems mentioned below:Piping and valvesPumps/compressors/blowers/expandersFilters/strainersVessels/exchangers/tanks/columnsWorking knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applicationsCandidates with heavy Driving license would be preferred as they need to drive Pick-up trucks.Interested?
