An operational expert and supervisor for Quality Control (QC), particularly in relation to dimensional control surveys of structural assemblies and pipeline spools. The Dimensional Controller Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing dimensional survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances. This role assures that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces. The supervisor outlines the dimensional survey programs, utilizes appropriate tools and equipment, and leads the dimensional control team.Key AccountabilitiesStudy the project drawings and requirements to develop a dimensional control/measurement plan detailing the intervention stages in consultation with project quality leads.Responsible for planning and execution of all survey work and ensure that all mating interfaces between fabrication, marine, and others are accurately measured, and that “best-fit” scenarios have been evaluated and established.Ensure the DC ITP is strictly followed at each stage, including updates to the plan to incorporate any process changes to the scope of planned survey work.Ensure DC Surveyors are provided with the latest revisions of design, Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, and project specifications.Liaise with the Client Discipline Representative on all matters affecting dimensional control.Direct and supervise dimensional control activities at the site.Review, approve, and submit dimensional control reports to the Project In Charge.Maintain accurate records of all dimensional inspections and control activities.Keep a log of all dimensional control survey requests and results.Ensure all dimensional survey equipment are calibrated and valid.Prioritize the wellbeing of oneself and colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs, and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others.Perform other duties or assignments as directed (Fit up inspections, weld visual inspections, etc.).Qualifications3 years diploma in technical studies, preferably an Accredited Diploma/BSC in Civil Engineering.Proficient in AutoCad software/Drafting.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in surveying structural assemblies and piping spools.Hands-on experience in using relevant measuring and surveying tools such as SOKKIA, Leica, Topcon, etc.Experience and knowledge of structural drawing and piping ISO drawing reading.#J-18808-Ljbffr
