Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Staff Village accommodation and amenities for the support a population of 20,000 Amaala staff and their families., between Alwajh and Duba, KSA What You'll Be Doing: Performs a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline. The Engineer at this level has experience and an increasing proficiency in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and Company procedures. Typical project assignments are larger in scope, more difficult and varied than at the Associate Engineer level. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations, is expected. Report to Resident Engineer as applicable and participate in the construction supervision of all electrical items including elector-mechanical works, the electrical cables (EHV, HV, MV, LV), electrical substations, street lightings and low current system of the project and ensure that the project is constructed as per Contract requirements and specifications. Control /manage the Electrical Inspectors by giving guidance for the work supervision activities and maintain quality and safety to meet client satisfaction. Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team. Monitor, measure and record Contractor’s progress on electrical and electro-mechanical work and provide feedback to the Resident Engineer allowing him to assess the actual construction progress against the approved construction schedule. Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) if required by the Client; and witness all relevant acceptance tests required by the Contract / Specifications. Plan for and coordinate with the Contractor on the necessary pre-commissioning, commissioning and post-commissioning activities. Ensure that all associated documentation / records are complete and accurate (i.e. as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals). Coordinate with the Contractor and client O&M on the trainings required by the Contract prior to hand-over and close-out. In addition to usual Electrical supervision tasks, checking Electrical loads, design, shop drawings, material approval, and as built- drawings. Perform field inspections and provide field support and troubleshooting during the construction process. Provide value engineering. Review contractor’s submittals and RFIs and provide technical feedback. Review changes proposed by contractor and assess them against approved design. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in electrical is required with typically 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in Hospitals projects ideally in the KSA. Requires proficiency in the application of Mechanical design standards, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in sketching and presentation. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
