EMFI Qatar Group is looking for a Senior Accountant - Fixed Asset and Inventory with the following qualifications:Qualification:Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from a recognized university.Preference will be given to the candidate with additional qualification such as CA, CPA, MBA Finance, CMA, ACCA, Masters in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management Professional Certification like CPIM, CSCP and CPSM.Knowledge of Arabic Language is preferable.Skills Requirements:Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookStrong interpersonal skills and good communication skillsHigh Level of analytical and problem-solving skillsAdequate presentation skills for educating clients on procedures to be followed.Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workExperience:Seven or more years of total experience. Out of which 4 or more years of experience in Fixed Asset and/or in Supply chain management.4 or more years of accounting experience in Qatar or in the gulf countries4 or more years of accounting experience in Hospital / Healthcare in public sectorProven experience within a high volume of Inventory or Fixed Asset environment. Experience required in organization with a size of more than 100 employees.Proven experience of closing of books of accounts in General Ledger Oracle EBS or similar ERP system.Should have worked in a recognized ERP system like Oracle, SAP, etc for a minimum of 5 years.Experience in working with internationally accepted accounting principlesRole/Duties:Bookkeeping and reconciliation of assets and recordsPerform asset bookkeeping related works such as identifying assets pending for Capitalization, validating them with the documents related to the asset, updating the records with transfers and retirements.Coordinate overall monthly close process, including importing, reviewing, and posting of journals.Reconciling various accounts of inventory and fixed asset with other related modules.Perform asset capitalization process and procedure.Monitor and report inventory and fixed asset transactions and develop inventory and fixed asset analysis reports.Asset controlling:Recording asset transfers and retirements and accordingly updating the custodianship.Tracking of assets from procurement until retirement.Monitoring the working of Gate-pass and the Entry and Exit registers at the gates and to ensure the system is working fine.Monitor the Slow moving, non-moving, obsolete, and expired items.Fixed Asset Tagging, Physical Verification & Audit:Plan, coordinate and perform random and periodic physical inventory and fixed asset counts and scrutinize the variances and execute necessary corrective actions.Generate periodical reports on inventory and fixed assets discrepancies and resolve.Verification of assets, which are transferred and are meant for disposal.Initiate any procedural changes required for better practice based on the variance analysis and outcome.Ensure the policies and procedures related to Inventory and Fixed Assets are followed properly throughout the organization.Assist the Inventory and Asset verification team, Internal and External Auditors for annual statutory audits.Other duties:The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.Interested candidate/s may send their CV to hiringemfi2022 @gmail.comJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, ContractPay: QAR1.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:ERP system like Oracle, SAP: 5 years (Required)Post-Graduate: 7 years (Required)Fixed Asset and/or in Supply chain management: 4 years (Required)Accounting experience in Qatar or in the gulf countries: 4 years (Required)Hospital / Healthcare in public sector: 4 years (Required)License/Certification:CA, CPA, MBA Finance, CMA, ACCA (Preferred)Supply Chain Management Professional CPIM, CSCP and CPSM (Preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
