Job Purpose Coordinate, collate, compile, and analyse financial forecasts that drive funding and investment decisions using various data sources. Provide accurate data collection, interpretation, and appropriate timely action to initiate the necessary funding and investment decisions that will ensure optimum liquidity and returns to the company and ensure timely payments to the State of Qatar and Shareholders. Key Job Accountabilities - I Coordinate, collate and compile sales revenue and operating expense forecasts from various teams in Commercial & Shipping, Project Accounting, Venture Accounting, Accounts Payables and Receivables / Payroll to prepare the assigned JVA cash flow forecast in preparation for internal funding, investment and distribution decision making.Maintain, update, and monitor assigned joint venture cash flow liquidity forecast against actual bank account transactions, to ensure accuracy and completeness of information, and confirm cash availability to process internal funding and investment transactions.Implement the investment strategy analyse cash flow trends and identify opportunities to propose investments in line with procedural guidelines, while ensuring adequate liquidity to meet daily cash demands and availability of fund to meet major payments, for management review, approval, and deal execution.Prepare the shareholder monthly distribution workings accurately and timely for maximum distribution of cash to shareholders ensuring required reserves requirements under existing lender agreement clauses and cash waterfall principals in the accounts agreements for the related venture are not breached.Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts accurately and timely. Ensure relevant Company regulations and controls are observed, that work is error-free, and that system integrity is maintained.Key Job Accountabilities - II Analyse asset and departmental level data. Maintain, update, and monitor asset financial forecasts daily. Record, report, and follow-up on variances from the original forecast. Identify and investigate any financial discrepancies to ensure no fraudulent or incorrect transfers are made.Liaise with various parties internally and externally to present analyses and recommendations on how best to meet forward demands most efficiently and effectively. Prepare routine reports, forecasts, or budgets. Able to handle non-routine items.Monitor day-to-day performance to identify and provide recommendations for possible enhancement or improvement and provide input for the development of financial systems and procedures.Conduct annual review of bank accounts and quarterly interest rate verification to highlight any dormant accounts for management review and confirm returns on the account balances are as per agreed rates.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, Economics or Commerce discipline, orBachelor’s degree in any discipline and an internationally recognized professional accounting and finance qualification (CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA).Knowledge and/or Experience - I 5 years’ experience in treasury or finance related function.Ability to interpret legal terms and clauses in the JVAs, Accounts Agreements, Loan Agreements, and any other finance agreements. Knowledge and experience with forecasting or budgeting. Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems.Technical and Business Skills - I Proficient in written and spoken English.Computer literacy, including the use of spreadsheets, databases, and graphics packages.Knowledge of international banking practices.Good analytical, planning, and presentation skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
