Job Purpose:To increase the reach and impact of QRDI's profile and visibility through the delivery of high value marketing, communications and PR in Qatar and internationally, thereby significantly contributing to the vision and goals outlined by QRDI Council and QRDI2030.Key Result Areas:Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy across a range of reactive and strategically planned opportunities in print, media, events and online.Lead the implementation of digital and social content strategy across multiple channels for internal/external stakeholders.Support QRDI goal to strengthen relationship and connection with Qatar National RDI Ecosystem and partners/stakeholders to ensure their engagement, involvement and buy-into QRDI strategic goals and objectives.Act as QRDI brand guardian, developing QRDI brand equity and work on the establishment of the brand guidelines to support QRDI critical role in the delivery of Qatar National RDI vision and goalsProvide advise and guidance to QRDI employees and business partners on maintaining the brand standards, application and executionOversee and produce, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials for the organization.Plan, prepare and distribute original promotional content such as articles, news and press releases, email, blog and social media posts, and other updates on behalf of the organization.Organize, promote and execute special events and functions to promote and report on milestones and key activitiesOversee the development of QRDI Internal Communications plan to keep QRDI employees well engaged to contribute to the overall productivity increase, minimizing turnover.Facilitate the connection with relevant Media organizations and figures (locally, regionally and globally) to advocate for QRDI strategic goals and visionEvaluate the impact of communications on the achievement of business results, and ensure communications initiatives are strategically sound and consistent with QRDI brand equityAssess the effectiveness of corporate communications processes and services and recommend possible enhancements, set clear standards and continuously assess the effectiveness of programs, processes and documentation.Drive leading-edge use of visual media: video productions, photography, interactive digital features and infographicsWork with the RDI programs directors to explore possible collaboration opportunities through high level of presence in international relevant conferences, exhibitions and frequent in-person meetings with key personnelSpearhead the delivery and management of QRDI Engagement and Outreach programs/projects' plans, ensuring established processes are followed, and delivering all projects on strategy, on time and on budgetDevelop crisis communications plan as neededIncorporate lessons learned into current and future projects/programsProvide input and work on cross-functional plans/projects/programs/initiatives; understand QRDI function's disciplines on how they link together to deliver integrated solutionsDevelop and manage good working relationships and maintain open dialogue with key internal/external business partners and stakeholders to ensure adequate execution of project deliverablesKeep well informed on national and regional RDI developments, in addition to emerging trends to be able to deliver effective relevant communicationsOther reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisorMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Master's degree in a relevant field, 8-10 years of full-time work experience in Communications Management, PR, JournalismExcellent communications and public speaking skills to represent QRDI Council in conferences and eventsExcellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.Proficiency in MS Office applications#J-18808-Ljbffr
