Leasing and Retail Director

The Retail & Leasing Director is responsible for all property management activities, including lease renewals, operations, and fit-out coordination.Develop strategies and action plans to enhance retail and commercial services for existing tenants.Present strategic priorities, budgets, and action plans to higher management as appropriate.Align company strategies with vision and mission.Manage the leasing of retail units and office spaces according to the target set by management.Ensure suitable locations are agreed upon with tenants, aligned with the agreed mix.Review tenant profiles, select appropriate tenants, and present them for management approval.Handle end-to-end accountability from tenant acquisition to lease agreements signature.Oversee and contribute to the development of retail areas and tenant mix plans.Oversee the development of leasing collateral and advertising campaigns in coordination with the marketing department.Ensure a suitable mix of retail outlets to maximize the destination as a premier international retail and food/beverage destination.Act as the lead negotiator for major retail agencies and trading houses.Maintain excellent communication with tenants, ensuring that business requirements are met and financial outcomes are optimized.Oversee customer hand-over and fit-out activities, and the handover process back to client.Oversee property upgrades and fit-out designs, and ensure the proper execution of works.Manage lease renewals, price variations, and ensure timely lease collection.Oversee tenant relationships, handling customer service and complaints.Assist tenants with facility management services.Conduct cost analysis, audit, and operational cost reduction activities.Develop and oversee the implementation of company policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.Ensure compliance with approved safety, quality, and environmental programs.Lead the department's change management processes to improve systems, processes, and practices.Ensure that the department's direction remains cohesive and forward-driven.Recommend budgets in line with targets and objectives.Review and analyze reports and documents prepared by staff.Perform additional duties as specified by management to enhance the efficiency of the department.12+ years of experience in property or operations management in retail, residential environments, or shopping centers.At least 4 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR40,000.00 per monthExperience:in a similar role: 10 years (Required)Language:Arabic (Required)License/Certification:Qatar ID (Preferred)Application Deadline: 25/09/2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
