About the role:Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Crew Hotels & Allowances Specialist to be based in Doha, Qatar.As a Crew Hotels & Allowances Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring that our crew receive a five-star service from our hotel and transport providers through a stringent vendor management program.Specific responsibilities for the role include:Provide support to the Crew Hotel & Allowances management team to develop a vendor management performance framework, including the creation of performance delivery metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee vendor performance against defined framework, capturing trends and emerging issues for collaborative resolution.Oversee invoice verification and payment process.Strengthen supplier relationships while working closely with internal stakeholders, such as Procurement, Ground Services and Crew Control, ensuring continually high performance of contract delivery.Drive stakeholder engagement to ensure to targets and deliverables are met.Oversee delivery of operational crew room and transportation requirements at outstations per third party contractual obligations and expectation.QualificationsAbout youThe successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:Relevant College or University qualification with a minimum of 5 years job-related experience.Knowledge of procurement and vendor management experience, particularly using KPIs and vendor/balanced scorecards.Advanced skills in MS office – particularly Excel, with excellent knowledge of working with data and dashboards.Knowledge of airline operations, particularly Flight Operations would be advantageous.Strong customer service orientation, organized, extremely detail oriented and possess strong follow up skills.Highly developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience of working with suppliers and stakeholders in an aviation setting would be advantageous.Excellent command of spoken and written English.How to applyPlease see below for all eligibility and requirements for internal applications and please note that any applications not meeting the criteria will not be processed.All internal candidates can only have three active applications at any point in time.All internal candidates must have completed a minimum 10 months in their current role in order to apply for a new role.All internal candidates with an active final warning letter will be automatically disqualified from the recruitment process.If you are Cabin Crew or Deck Crew (Qatar Airways & Qatar Executive) candidate, you would require NOC to apply for this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
