Clinical Care Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of health care errors. Provides direct care and related duties in NMC Provita and maintains current knowledge of nursing practice and standards. Plans, implements and evaluates nursing care given to assigned patient in an effective and organized manner. Provides for the physical, psychological and social needs of the patient and families. Is familiar with, and understands, the Severe Care Domains of DOH. Communication Communicates with a range of people on a range of matters. Communicates appropriately and clearly to Charge Nurse, Shift in Charge, coworkers and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Consults with other departments as appropriate to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs. Communicates the mission, vision and values of the facility. Personal and People Development Develops own skills and knowledge and provides information to others to help their development. Recognizes the necessity to continuously develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position. Attends training sessions offered by NMC ProVita, and upholds professional portfolio and 20 CME per year as required for licensure. Dresses appropriately to the expectations of the specific work areas and Occupational Health and Safety Policy. Service Improvement Contributes to the improvement of services. Evaluates own and others’ work when needed. Makes suggestions to improve services. Confidentiality Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with NMC ProVita policy and UAE Professional Code of Conduct for Nurses. Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing in home country. Active Basic Life Support training. 2 years minimum clinical experience and recent ICU/long term care unit assignment.
