About Your Job:You will be responsible for designing data models and standards across different data domain within the organisation, promoting data consistency and accessibility for data analytics throughout the organisation. You will be leading the development, validating, publishing, and maintaining of conceptual, logical and physical data models required for the enterprise-wide data analytics. We need your knowledge of big data modelling best practices along with cross industry data expertise and data modelling tool expertise.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop enterprise-level big data models to effectively organize and manage massive datasetsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable big data architectures and enterprise models for organisation’s big data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance and manage massive datasets.Capture the physical enterprise data model, working with data solution architects to align to the conceptual and logical models.Define and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across the organizationEvaluate and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.Design and oversee the implementation of data modelling standards, guidelines, and best practices.Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for data modelling and management.Assess existing data architectures, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations.Create documentation and diagrams illustrating data models, ensuring their accessibility and comprehensibility.Ensure a holistic view of enterprise data architecture and data models for data analytics for the organisation is maintained.Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage strong business acumen to translate business requirements in to modelling artefacts to build data products.Work closely with data engineers, data solution architects, data scientists, data analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with business goals and to ensure enterprise level data model consistency.Implement metadata management practices to catalog and track data assets across the organizationStay up-to-date with the latest big data technologies and trends to ensure our data architecture remains innovative and competitive.Implement standard processes for data modeling and warehouse designMentor and train data engineers and data architects in big data modelling principles and practices.QualificationsExperience & Knowledge8 years of experience in data architecture and modeling on Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects, and/or any Information Management related projects.Prior experience building large scale enterprise big data models.Strong proficiency in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and related querying languages (SQL, HiveQL, etc.).In-depth knowledge of big data modeling methodologies, including dimensional, star schema, and snowflake modelsProven expertise in utilizing cloud-based big data platforms, particularly GCPStrong understanding of data governance principles and practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Fluency in SQL and experience with data modeling toolsExperience with data visualization toolsKnowledge of airline domain will be an added advantage.Knowledge of agile/lean development methodologiesKnowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts#J-18808-Ljbffr
