Responsibilities:Manages the functional and technical development of Heavy Rail’s Integrated Control Centre (ICC).Participates on behalf of Qatar Rail in the development and updating of ICC standard operating procedures and associated work instructions.Represents Qatar Rail on all testing and commissioning activities of Heavy Rail ICCs and related systems for both solid state and future operations.Assesses the ICCs performance during the Trial Run period.Reviews and validates all Operator’s contractual and operational documents.Reviews, surveys, and evaluates all Operator’s activities; assesses the Operator’s performance against the operational Key Performance Indicators.Complies with all Qatar Rail CMS Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.Performs and carries out other duties as instructed/directed by the leadership.Management of the close-out process following incident investigation.Ensures representation of QR Service Delivery at the Daily Performance meeting and communicates outputs to QR Leadership.Qualifications:Working knowledge of train scheduling, train utilisation, control centre operations, station operations, train operations, and depot operations.Thorough understanding of the basics of rail systems such as moving block signalling systems, traction power supply distribution, platform screen doors, automatic fare collection, track and crossovers, control and communication systems, and E&M systems, including their functions, operations, and maintenance.Must be a skilled manager in communicating and motivating staff.Highly motivated and flexible to work in a time-sensitive environment to respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events, and emergencies.Excellent analytical reasoning ability and capable of making decisions on complex matters.Ability to multi-task and analyse situations promptly and without bias to determine the proper course of action or alternatives without jeopardising human safety, quality, and the committed performance targets.Thorough understanding of all aspects of safety issues related to railway operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
