Duties include verifying and documenting received materials, preparing correspondence, issuing items in response to requisitions, monitoring stock, and assisting with physical inventories. Supervision is received from a supervisor who reviews work for adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:Monitors stocks to ensure adequate levels.Assists supervisor in checking inventory and placing pharmacy orders.Receives shipments, verifies quantity and quality of materials, and maintains required files and records.Labels received items and stores them in appropriate areas.Assists Pharmacy Buyer in receiving, verifying, and logging requisitions.Responsible for sorting and filing pharmacy invoices daily.Picks up discontinued medication and requisitions for processing.Routes necessary documents and invoices to appropriate personnel.Maintains organized filing of purchasing documents and invoices.Removes recalled stock items from shelves.Charts refrigerator and freezer temperatures to ensure accuracy.Maintains a neat and orderly stock area.Performs other responsibilities as required.Adheres to Sidra’s standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.Promotes Sidra’s Values.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:ESSENTIALEducation: Diploma in Pharmacy program with a minimum of two (2) years course duration.Experience: Hospital/LTC Pharmacy Technicians: 3+ years in a corresponding setting; Retail Pharmacy Technicians: 4+ years in a retail setting.Certification: Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the country of origin.Job Specific Skills and Abilities:Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds and move boxes.Ability to stand for extended periods.Demonstrated ability to work with Pharmacy Information Systems.Knowledge of inventory practices in pharmacy operations.Knowledge of safety practices for storing pharmaceutical supplies.Knowledge of recordkeeping procedures in a pharmacy.Ability to receive, store, and issue various pharmaceutical supplies.Ability to perform routine arithmetic calculations accurately.Ability to maintain an organized stock area.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Fluency in written and spoken English.Aware of Qatar regulations and Qatar/GCC market.About UsSidra Medicine aims to provide exceptional healthcare services and represents the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation.
