URGENT REQUIREMENTNES is assisting its Qatar based Chemical client in its urgent immediate search for a Control System Engineer.The main purpose of the role is to plan, develop, maintain and coordinate control system DCS and Process Emergency Shutdown (PES/SIS) engineering activities, design and operation and construction management for all plant facility projects to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of all DCS and PES system in the Company plants.Key Accountabilities:Supervise the activities and work performed by direct reports to ensure that are carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in line with the annual business plans and departmental policies and procedures.Monitor performance, identify upgrade needs, collect, analyse, and interpret performance data to ensure optimal control systems performance.Work closely with Procurement team in the identification of upgrade requirements, technical qualification of vendors and final selection to ensure that services provided meet the Company needs and standards.Modify the control systems throughout the plants, by installing all parameters, carrying out procedures as per set guidelines and practises to ensure smooth operations.Prepare spare parts management requirements at all times and monitor inventory, especially prior to major planned overhauls to avoid and minimize control systems disruptions.Plan and schedule the upgradation of DCS and SIS equipment and systems and ensure alignment of all relevant stakeholders to maintain DCS and SIS systems reliability and optimal operation.Work closely with ICS cybersecurity team to ensure all DCS and SIS assets are secured.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Process Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Physical Engineering, Engineering Technology.5-7 years of experience in control system function preferably in oil and gas industryExperience in Petrochemicals Industry or DCS/SIS systems OEM experiences.If you fit the above criteria, please email your cv to Benita.Surrao@nesgt.com and we can arrange a time for a chat.#J-18808-Ljbffr
