Key Results Areas Spearhead the development of innovative communication and outreach strategies within QF Communications, pioneering non-traditional approaches and collaborating on cross-disciplinary projects with a multiversity perspective. Champion capacity-building initiatives and promote career pathways in the arts, fostering a supportive environment for professional growth and development. Lead the development and implementation of strategic art initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching objectives and artistic vision. Manage the comprehensive management of the art collection lifecycle, including acquisitions, loans, conservation efforts, and meticulous inventory control. Plan and execute high-profile art exhibitions, managing all logistical aspects from venue selection to marketing strategies. Plan and facilitate research endeavors concerning the art collection, collaborating with scholars, curators, and external partners to deepen understanding and appreciation. Supervise and optimize the digitization process for artworks, ensuring accurate documentation and broad accessibility of digital assets. Support the design and deliver engaging educational programs and materials tailored to diverse audiences, facilitating meaningful interactions with the art collection. Establish and enforce robust policies and procedures governing art handling, conservation practices, and exhibition standards. Manage budget allocations for art-related projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial guidelines. Cultivate and maintain relationships with artists, collectors, donors, and stakeholders to elevate the prominence and impact of the art collection within the community and beyond. Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Arts or any relevant field. A Master’s degree in art management (MA) is an advantage. 6 - 8 years of relevant work experience in developing programs in a department of a museum, large gallery, or arts space. Excellent skills in programming and planning, creativity, teamwork, problem solving, communication, decision making, self-motivation, and dedication. Content knowledge: Contemporary art history, public art policies and strategies, art commissioning, regional art. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
