They provide effective leadership for the development, management, and delivery of all data integrity (continuing airworthiness record) activities.The post holder will lead and manage a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, for the purpose of developing and delivering all data integrity (continuing airworthiness records) in both hard-copy and electronic format. They will task at strategic and tactical levels, whilst maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing costs.Core ActivityLeading and managing the production and delivery of the technical data ensuring that it is “current and applicable” to the Part 21 (Design Organisation) design.Lead and manage the delivery of the technical data to enable the accomplishment of all maintenance in accordance with the Operator Maintenance Programme.At a tactical level, lead and manage the data integrity interface with design organisation, maintenance tasking & verification, Part M and Part 145 organisation.Managing and reporting on the effectiveness of data management, including feedback to design organisations, across all responsible maintenance locations. Ensure any trends are identified, generate effective resolution, escalated to management.Inputting new electronic airworthiness records, including the input of aircraft technical logs (hours, cycles, etc.) into the relevant records systems.Delivering the necessary activities required to maintain the configuration, quality and integrity of the airworthiness records.Key AccountabilitiesPerformance indicators – Ensure the effective management of continuing airworthiness records activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across the team to maximise efficiency. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on continuing airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate. Understand how the team and your actions contribute to overall delivery performance.Completion of activities – Ensure all continuing airworthiness records activities are recorded and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT/paper based). Ensure all continuing airworthiness records activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. Ensure the integration of continuing airworthiness records activity within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process. Provide support and guidance to the team. Provide OJT aligned to the role training specification for QAF candidates.Procedure/standards – Compliance with the continuing airworthiness management exposition, its associated procedures and standards, and any other applicable company procedures and standards. Agree and enact change to these procedures and standards as required.Safety Management System – Promote the application of human factors, error management, safety assurance within the continuing airworthiness records team, together with the proactive analysis, mitigation and management of hazards.Management System Assurance – Ensure continuing airworthiness records team activities are compliant with the applicable governance and assurance framework. Ensure process confirmations and independent assurance audits are supported by continuing airworthiness records personnel and integrated within/across teams. Manage the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews. Generate and implement effective improvements within/across team to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness.Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) – Management and application of the CAA system within airworthiness records, including supporting audits, responding to findings related to reference data, configuration and lifing exceptions in a timely manner and providing relevant information into the appropriate reviews.Statutory / Regulatory & Legislative requirements – Demonstrate a detailed understanding and application of the continuing airworthiness regulatory framework, and ensure the organisation is advised of any changes. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR/E&PW.Contractual Requirements – Ensure compliance with all applicable contractual requirements, Support contract reviews and ensure communication of any changes into Airworthiness Records activities, as appropriate.RequirementsRecognised qualification to HNC/HND level in a relevant discipline, or suitable equivalent.High level of regulatory framework understanding and the ability to drive this framework structure into the data integrity (continuing airworthiness records) processes and activities.Able to build strong relationships with the Part 145 organisation and other key stakeholders.Demonstrate a sound understanding of the platform contract terms related to the KPIs.Demonstrate a thorough operational and commercial understanding of the fleet’s performance and business key performance metrics.Demonstrate an understanding of reliability programmes and the impact of their findings on the operator maintenance programme.Demonstrate a good understanding of data integrity with respect to fleet planning and maintenance tasking & verification.Provide direction and advice to the data integrity (continuing airworthiness records) team on records related issues, addressing individual aircraft or components and fleet-wide issues.Able to manage the competency and authorisations of the data integrity (continuing airworthiness records) team.Human Factors - Standard Course Specification.#J-18808-Ljbffr
