About your roleYou will manage a group of interrelated projects of the assigned LOB’s (Line of Business’s) IT work Programme by establishing scheduling, delivery and resource dependencies and risk management across the projects to ensure the programme delivery in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. You will assist the Senior Manager PMO in delivery of IT Work Programme for the assigned LOBs or IT department itself with a large and operationally critical work programme. You will lead the drafting of Business – IT strategy for the assigned LOBs. You will contribute to IT budgeting of the assigned LOBs.Role and responsibilitiesTake ownership for delivery of the assigned programme and ensure projects under that are delivered within agreed cost and timescales. Ensure that available resources across on-site/offshore are optimally utilized within the programme to achieve the objectives and success of the programme.Ensure the list of projects to be undertaken along with key attributes such as business priority is defined and maintained. Ensure that each project is initiated at the right time.Ensure that any specific standards and procedures to be followed by all the projects/sub-projects in the programme are clearly defined, communicated to the individual Project teams across the stakeholders and complied with.Establish organizational control structures for work programme (e.g. work programme steering group) working with respective Senior Managers.Ensure that risks from individual projects are consolidated, prioritized based on risk exposure and resources are focused to manage risks with highest impact on the programme.Ensure that a consolidated work programme plan is established and maintained based on high level planning output from individual projects.Ensure that summary reports of all projects in the programme are provided to relevant stakeholders in regular time intervals.Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.QualificationsKnowledge Skills & ExperienceBachelor Degree with minimum 8 years of job-related experience or you should hold High School Qualification/Diploma with minimum 9 years of job-related experience.We are looking for someone who has got a broad experience in leading IT programmes in various domains while engaging multiple stakeholders across IT, Business and vendors.At least 3-5 years of experience should be in successfully delivering large IT work programmes or transformational projects in the areas of Application development, Digital Transformation, IT Re-engineering and Emerging technologies like AI.Experience working with the IT PMO of an enterprise scale organization would be an added advantage.Demonstratable achievements in enabling IT PMO to create value for IT and Business.PMP/PgMP certification or demonstrable Project and Programme Management experience.Experience in Vendor and Change management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
