Job Summary:The BIM Manager is responsible for delivering a business’s technology strategy and promoting the benefits of digital ways of working. He may support a small team, ensuring that projects run smoothly, and project information models are delivered on time. The role involves working closely with BIM coordinators who are responsible for managing the digital process.Duties & Responsibilities:Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients, and architects to ensure projects remain efficient and effective.Working closely with BIM coordinators responsible for producing project information models.Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project.Completing supply chain assessments.Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances.Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programs.Ensuring staff have access to the necessary tools and equipment.Overseeing the purchase of workstations to ensure hardware is sufficient and effective.Producing monthly reports for senior managers to identify and measure BIM implementation.Keeping up to date with advancements in building technology.Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies.Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues.Overseeing BIM budgets.Supporting the career development, coaching, and mentoring of a team of staff.Raising the profile of BIM across departments and teams.Adhering to the latest industry standards.Providing training to staff on BIM tools, processes, and best practices.Implementing and enforcing BIM standards to maintain data quality and consistency.Conducting regular audits of BIM models to ensure compliance with established standards.Ensuring smooth exchange of data between different BIM tools and platforms.Exploring opportunities for integrating BIM with other technologies, such as virtual reality or augmented reality.Education & Experience:Bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering.Certificate in BIM Authoring Tools.Minimum 8-10 years of experience.Extensive experience in BIM software such as Planarly, Revit, NAVISWORKS or ACC.Strong communication skills and an understanding of project management principles.Certified Revit professional.Required Skills:BIM implementation and management.Leadership and team development.Technical expertise in BIM software and workflows.Ability to use initiative.Business management skills.Ability to organize time and workload.Thorough understanding of computer systems and applications.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Questions:Do you have experience with Ashghal projects?Do you have experience working with Engineering Consultancy?What is your current salary?What is your expected salary?Will you be able to join immediately?Are you a UPDA Holder?Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Total: 8 years (Required)License/Certification:Certificate in BIM Authoring Tools (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
