Support Onshore Project Management in the evaluation and planning related to claims avoidance and disputed change requests, change orders, and contractual/commercial management and prepare material required for stakeholders, including in-depth assessments and actionable analysis.Conduct Delay Analyses to support Company positioning and development of response strategies to potential or active claims, and develop Contract Entitlement Assessments, liaising with Onshore Business Management (Shared Resources), LNG Legal, and Supply to ensure alignment on assessment outcome.Provide central support to the Project Management Team’s Commercial activities and coordinate input with LNG Supply, Legal, and other Major Project Groups / PMT functions, as required.Implement the Claims Avoidance and Management Procedure. Ensure updates capture best practices that enhance the Claims Avoidance and Management Program. Maintain files and prepare lessons learnt and close-out reports.Document and record all changes, progress measurements and payments, management of claims, monitoring of bonds/guarantees, preparation of Contract amendments, and closing out the contract.Custodian of the Contract Management files, shared drives, PMCS workflows, etc.Assist the Area Division Managers and the Project Division Manager – Flawless Execution with the review and negotiations of change requests submitted by Contractor.Assist the Area Division Managers and Project Division Manager – Flawless Execution with the preparation of the Change In the work Notices (CIN).Essential skills and knowledgeBachelor’s degree in Business, Law or Engineering or equivalent experience.Minimum of 12 years’ experience in major and complex projects environment within the oil and gas industry and large LNG Projects, with proven exposure to business and risk management including project controls, costs and schedule development, and contract management.A minimum of 5 years supervising multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams and as Head of Claims Management and Contracts (or parent company equivalent) of large, high-*** and complex Projects.Excellent written and verbal English skills.Strong planning, organizational, and prioritizing skills.Strong negotiating and influencing skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).What we offerDay Rate in USD Plus AllowanceWork Schedule:Duration:Dec 2027, renewableLocation:QatarAre you the perfect match for this vacancy?
