```htmlJob ResponsibilitiesWhat are you going to do?Responsible to ensure Contractor delivers complete Piping engineering deliverables during execution.Ensures the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfillment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations.Review and approve all piping technical documents (specifications, calculation notes, drawings, etc.) developed by Contractor to ensure compliance with project scopes and requirements, and identify potential risks.Manage Contractor’s Piping discipline resources to ensure timely work completion.Responsible for all model reviews conducted during design development.Provide technical support to project and coordinate multidiscipline input on piping and layout deliverables.Participate in various project workshops such as Design, Hazardous Operations (HAZOP and HAZID), and Constructability reviews.Assist with expectations as required, especially in Risk Assessment, Facility Design, Construction, and Management of Change.Track and report lessons learned in the defined area of responsibility.Work in a highly visible project environment with large capital expenditures and significant schedule execution pressures.Demonstrate accuracy, initiative, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with high expectations for flawless project execution in safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.Maintain a well-established awareness of policies and procedures with high expectations for business controls compliance and further develop controls to meet changing requirements.Essential Skills and KnowledgeMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.18+ years of experience in piping discipline, with at least five years of lead discipline experience in major capital projects and offshore fixed platform projects.Experience as a Piping Material Engineer in the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated track record in materials selection, specifications, and procurement for piping systems.In-depth understanding of piping materials, including alloys, metals, plastics, and their compatibility with various process fluids and environments.Possess extensive offshore greenfield and brownfield project experience.Good understanding of platform layout development requirements and equipment/material handling requirements.Experience with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.Knowledgeable in Codes & Standards.A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.```#J-18808-Ljbffr
