About the roleAs Social Media Officer, you will be responsible for creating social media editorial plans and content calendar. You’ll implement Qatar Airways Group social media strategy, create competitor analysis and daily performance monitoring and reports. You’ll also be responsible for community management and content publishing across all platforms.Key Responsibilities:Handle Qatar Airways social media calendar and editorial plans, including scheduling and publishingCreate campaigns to enhance social media presenceMonitor and analyze social media performance across all platformsCreate and execute community management plans across all platformsCreate reports and presentations for senior managementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders for project management, planning, and paid campaigns managementQualificationsAbout YouWe are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Social Media team. We work in a fast-paced environment that may require irregular work hours and quick turnarounds, including working on weekends, so flexibility is critical for success in this position.You will need a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in social media/digital marketing, media and communication, fine arts) with at least 4 years of experience in social media in the travel industry or social media agency.Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to work in stressful situations and multitask.You should be a creative storyteller, with strong presentation skills and have a willingness to experiment and an eye for detail.You will need the ability to nurture and develop great working relationships.Experience in using and managing all social media channels is essential.Experience with social media scheduling and analysis tools (Meta Business Suite, X Studio, YouTube Studio, Sprinkler, Emplify/Socialbakers, Talkwalker, etc.)Strong writing and verbal English communication skills – Arabic is a plus but not a must.Ability to build a cutting-edge creative content calendar and draft social media captions.Ability to manage stakeholders.Ability to build strong presentations and generate reports.Experience in creating editorial content calendars.Knowledge of social media marketing trends and techniques.Influencer and content creator management skills.Experience in community management and social media engagement approaches.Experience in handling paid social media campaigns is a plus.How to ApplyIf you are interested in submitting your application and feel you are a good fit for this role, please complete our application form and upload your CV for our review and consideration.#J-18808-Ljbffr
