Oversee ALTEA Customer & Flight Management, CLC, LSS, IATCI, regulatory, GUI- implementations applications enhancements & ensure that the rules in the systems are in accordance to QR, IOSA & all quality related standards. Manage HUB Ground Services related automation projects by liaising with relevant stakeholders such as Amadeus, SITA HIA IT, ITQR, end users of GS to make sure all aspects of the project are being considered to ensure successful implementation of automation projects under GS.Key accountabilities include:Introduce mobility solutions and state of the art solutions in HUB, ensuring maximum benefits and in a cost effective manner such as Self Baggage Drop, Self-Check-in Kiosks, self-boarding gates, mobility solutions, airport box solution in order to be in-line with Hamad International Airport future vision of self-service.Submit, Recommend yearly Automation improvement plan to Senior Manager Automation Programme with minimum 5 ideas per year.Contribute to innovation of delivering services to the passengers, focusing on the efficiency, safety and flow-through of the passengers and their satisfaction as they move through the Airports and provides the communications infrastructure and IT solutions for meeting the passenger and station needs such as back office Qonnect+ process improvements, Self-Baggage Drop, Self-Check-in Kiosks etc.Ensure systems are implemented, operating accordance to QR policies, procedures and in-line to meet regulatory, compliance for internal and external audit such as IATA IOSA, QCAA requirements taking into consideration the most beneficial for QR in HUB.Manage Ground Services operational systems for GS HUB such as ALTEA DCS, Check-in kiosks, Qonnect+, Business Objects, Self Bag Drop etc ensuring that the automated solutions support the GS organization and business growth.Sequence activities and produce detailed schedule to meet project delivery dates, within scope and within budget.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and identifying techniques for quality control and development plan. Perform analysis to validate the effectiveness of project planning organization and report to Senior Management.Clarify completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan.Ensure the delivery of projects on time and within budget through project portfolio prioritization and project program execution. Manage and takes end to end ownership of projects and develop the Project plan, considering the full life cycle, from conception creation and planning, to execution control and operations. Initiate automated projects, capture requirements, draft and submit business case, test, share the implementation plan, follow the project tracker to ensure end to end documentation process is followed as per QR policy.Assist in selection of suitable devices / hardware, connectivity for HUB in order to improve efficiency and productivity.Work with IT and Automation Programme team to manage risks and develop mitigation plan for GS automation systems and ensure business continuity is maintained. Manages and analyses any change in scope by doing the impact analysis and getting the necessary approvals as required.QualificationsAbout youThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:Relevant College or University qualification.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.Management/Leadership experience with the Airline or Aviation Industry.Experience managing a team of people from a multicultural background.Experience in ground operations in a relevant airport.Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Ability to meet required deadlines, result oriented. Flexibility with working hours especially during key service disruption periods.Proven ability for solution-oriented, effective communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.Proven to have demonstrated flexibility in meeting the demands of the business unit to which he/she is assigned.#J-18808-Ljbffr
