Job Responsibilities:Lead the pipeline package engineering activities for North Field Expansion Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g., project specifications, project materials, welding specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide Functional Safety design support to pipeline engineering manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor.Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, Umbilicals, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the workscope.Your Tasks:Ensure that the Contractor’s onshore, offshore, pipeline and subsea materials integrity comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards.Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance.Plan and schedule the materials, welding and package engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with LNG operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.Supervise and ensure that the Contractor’s functional safety of onshore facilities (offshore scope) engineering and pipeline materials and welding comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards.Participate in key design workshops and ensure that pipeline materials and welding package functional safety design recommendations are correctly implemented, and actions closed before the end of lessons learned, value engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.Supervise the engineering interface between the onshore facilities (offshore scope) and pipeline engineering and the following teams: operations, drilling, well Management, jacket, topsides from the pipelines perspective, the onshore project team.Support the materials and pipeline related purchase orders with the Contractor and system Vendor in accordance with the roles and responsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe and seamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities.Support pipeline engineering manager in monitoring the contractor’s progress on delivery of the required documents in the piping and Pipeline disciplines.Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with respect to the disciplines involved in delivery of the packages related to pipelines materials and welding and ensures endorsement of materials technical deviations to Company specifications when required.Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in the contractor’s design or deviations from the company directives.Your Profile:Minimum bachelors engineering degree/diploma in related fields.10+ years of relevant experience as materials / welding package engineering lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.Experience working on subsea and onshore pipeline systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.Good knowledge of materials, welding engineering, subsea, onshore pipeline, and mechanical equipment.Our Offer:Salary: Day Rate in USD Plus AllowanceWork Schedule: 10 Hours / 6 DaysDuration: 30-Oct-2027, with possible extensionLocation: Qatar#J-18808-Ljbffr
