Your TasksDirects subordinates and participates in carrying out complete overhauls of pumps, instrument air compressors, diesel engines, gear boxes, valves, safety relief valves, and heat exchangers.Tabulates critical as-found and final clearance measurements and tolerances during the overhaul of plant equipment.Using manufacturer's parts lists, instruction manuals, and drawings, assesses requirements for spare parts and obtains them from stores using standard procedures.Cleans and maintains in good order special tools and equipment.Carries out other similar or related duties such as troubleshooting maintenance faults, keeping the work area tidy, and giving on-the-job training to less experienced technicians.Carries out test runs and preventive maintenance for all mobile equipment and workshop equipment such as stationary and mobile air compressors, generators, lighting towers, and pumps.Carries out standby (callout) duties.Your ProfileCompletion of Higher Secondary School (12 years) followed by a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification.Proficient and competent in maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling multi-stage pumps, reciprocating and screw compressors, safety relief valves, gear boxes, various types of valves, and diesel engines.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant discipline at similar industries (Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical Plants).Qatar Driving License - Light Vehicles Driving License is mandatory.Our OfferSalary: Monthly Rate in QAR plus allowance.Work Schedule: 8 hours / 5 days.Duration: 5 years with possible extension.Location: Qatar.#J-18808-Ljbffr
