Qatar Distribution Company is currently looking for an Assistant Maintenance Technician with experience in Draught, plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical/refrigerating.The Qatar Distribution Company (QDC) is the only licensed retail distributor of wines and spirits in Qatar. The store has a wide range of beverages that can be purchased by licensed hotels and qualifying private individuals.About the RoleTo work alongside the respective Draught Technician and team in relation to the maintenance, servicing, installation, fault diagnosis, and collection of kegs. Utilize correct tools and methods as per instruction of safe work practices and standard working procedures.Role AccountabilitiesAssist in the repair and/or installation related to the field of work as required by the operations (beverage kegs in the hotels).Maintain the availability of all required tools, equipment, and spares on site to meet the day-to-day operations as per the standard operating procedures.Maintain a clean and safe draught area ensuring that the operating procedures are met as per company policy.Responsible for assisting reporting technician’s day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operations as per QDC draught SOP.Maintain and improve technical proficiency, also labelled QDC Draught Assets, as per QR Standards. Maintain records of all works, timesheets, and attendance.Respond and attend to emergency calls after office hours and during weekends. Action to be taken within 2 hrs.Guarantee that all beverage lines are cleaned/serviced every three weeks in coordination with the draught supervisor.Perform other departmental duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.QualificationsHigh school qualificationPlumbing, air-conditioning, electrical/refrigerating experienceEnglish communication skillsWith a driving licenseAbility to lift equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
