1.Leads a team of expert Cable Engineers and allocates duties to them.2.Acts personally to ensure quick restoration of supply in case of loss of supply to sensitive consumers.3.Guides the Engineers both in the field as well as in control for quick restoration of supply in case of system breakdown.4.Attends to the priorities for the cable faults location, repairs & replacement of the old cables /switchgears.5.Prepares the operational memorandum with the introduction of new equipments and changed situation.6.Studies and analyses the cable faults and weakness of the system and take remedial actions.7.Supervises the old cable replacement & disconnection contracts and monitors both quality as well as quantity.8.Share preparation of the technical Evaluation of the new cables contracts with other concerned staff.9.Share preparation of the technical Evaluation of the required materials either new or existing also ensures with other concerned the availability of cables work materials.10.Shares experiences with the other related Sections/Departments for introduction of the latest technology in the field of Electricity Distribution.11.Coordinate with other sections to execute cables work in high quality manners, confirm quality of work and updating all records by all concerned staff.12.Follows up Repairing of cable faults in the 11KV & 415V network from reporting to restoration of supply.13.Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor. Education &B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Power).Job EAt least 10 years experience in the cable fault location & repairing of the Distribution Networks.Good knowledge of Distribution Planning and manpower managementGood in the speaking, reading and writing of EnglishThe ability to pin point work priorities.Ability to organize works during emergency cases or faults.
